Hi Guys. This is my script of Ice breaker speech in Toastmasters.

Ellarukum Vanakamunga! Ennanga? Ellarum nalla irrukeengala?

Fellow Toastmasters and guests, please accept a warm good morning from Dinesh Kumar, standing in front of you.

From my introduction, can anybody guess my birth place?

Yes! Its Coimbatore! A sweet city where I was born at the year — 1989 to Mr. Prabakaran and Mrs. Usharani. I have a younger brother whose name is Arun Kumar. All 3 of them are in silver business.

May I know how many of you had their 14 years of schooling from LKG till 12th in a single school? … Great I am one among you — studied all together at Vasavi Vidyalaya matric higher secondary school in Coimbatore. After my schooling, I chose PSG College of Arts and Science in same Coimbatore to study BCA.

As usual days passed on in my UG college. After UG, I pursued my MCA degree in Chennai — DG Vaishnav college located at Arumbakkam. At the same time, I also took care of my father’s business. For business purpose, in weekends, I did a lot of train travel. I really loved at that time meeting new people and tryout different food because Travelling is one of my hobby.

Completing my studies, I joined Syncfusion Software as Software engineer at 2012. As my company will always be on “Cutting Edge”, I was able to work in different technologies including BigData. Currently I am one of the product manager for a Business Intelligence product named ‘Bold BI’.

At 2014, I got married to Vinothini and I have a cute daughter named ‘Geetu Sasvi’ of 1.5 years age.

When I saw about toast masters first time in my mobile’s meetup app, I imagined that toast masters club is something for cooking; perhaps the word “Andhra” along with “Toast” would have brought that thought into my mind 😊. Coming to The Pathway — I have chosen “Effective Coaching”. The goal I wish to achieve via Toastmasters is to become an international speaker in future.

Like, everybody in this world, I also had a lot of “Obtund” situations in my life; But I felt that it’s not necessary to convey in this first talk. My father used to say always this quote — “Every situation will pass on. Keep-on learning new things; do your best and face it”. The important lesson from that quote I learning is “Never Stop Learning!”. Over to you TMOD sir.
